W.T. Woodson High School emphasizes excellence in all aspects of student life.   • Woodson SAT scores are higher than the Fairfax County average.
  • Fairfax County SAT scores are higher than both the state and the national averages.
  • National Merit finalists and National Achievement finalists are consistently selected from Woodson.
  • Mean 1998-1999 grade point average: 3.24
  • Advanced Placement courses are offered.
  • Emphasis on technology and expository writing skills across the curriculum
